From the same 375 as ggolec. Notes were similar -- cork came out relatively easy, in two pieces. Virtually all the sediment (58 years worth) remained in the bottle! For the first 30 minutes, nose still had fruit -- dried prunes and raisins, plus TONS of toffee and caramel. As time went on, the prunes/raisins dropped and were replaced by tawny port and more toffee. Some smokiness on the palate. Still had (some) tannins and a nice acidity. 60+ second finish.
What a treat. Drank from a 375. Cork came out relatively easy. Color was predictably light brown with a fair amount of sediment. Nose was reminiscent of a tawny port, with prune and toffee shining through. Palate was quite enjoyable with plenty of smokiness and toast, and a very long finish.
