The nose is fairly muted now. The notes are more leathery, with a touch of dried plums. On the palate, the initial taste is again more on plums and leather. The tannins have now completely disolved, but there is stil some lively acid to keep things interesting. This is probably its limit, no point in keeping it any longer. A very interesting aging experiment.

This is extremely impressive. The nose has become a complex mix of strawberries, cream, pepper and cedar. The palate has lost its fresh strawberries initial edge but it has gained tremendous layers of dried fruits, cinnamon and cloves. The texture is mouth filling through the mid-palate, with fine tannins and still good acidity on the finish. This has turned into one of the best QPRs in my cellar. Good now.

This is an interesting evolution. The nose has moved from simple strawberries to a mix of strawberries and rosemary. The palate has also gained in complexity, a sign that the malbec is opening up slightly. The fruit is layered with notes of spice and tobacco. The finish is lightly creamy but this is calming down, as is the acid. This is just coming together in a very nice way...

On the nose, I get strawberries, mixed with celery (!) and a very creamy finish, with just a hint of spice. The palate is again driven by strawberries, then comes layers of green bell pepper and cream. The very fine tannins are nicely integrated and there is a good dose of acidity on the backend. The finish is quite long. This has improved a lot!
