  Ruby red in the glass. Nose of flowers, barnyard, bit of cherry. First sip reveals a palate-puckering sprity-acidity that was as lively as I can remember as of late. Wow. A zinger. Left the glass for 30 minutes, came back to find it had evened out a bit. Palate now shows red fruit, cranberry, pomegranate, vanilla, some pepper on the finish. Interesting wine to follow as it is continuing to evolve. Isn't showing its age at all. Quite nice actually.
