My last of these in the cellar. Like saying good by to an old friend. Pnp. The color is orange/gold. The nose is gorgeous. Not powerful but very pretty with slight diesel, lots of minerals and just a whiff of attic dust. On the palate, this is dry. Nice texture. Good complexity. It puts on weight with air for the first 20 minutes then steadies. Works with food. Very nice aged Riesling.

Dinner with Friends (Bouchard, Hirsch, Vissoux, Brunello, Bea, Saxum, Kapscandy): Dry as a bone. Showing some age, but still very good. Went really well with the soup. Golden in color. The nose throws a lot of petrol. On the palate, there is still some peach, but a lot of minerals. Slightly bitter on the finish, this needs food.

More minerality and terroir came through on this wine. Almost more German than Austrian. Really good.
