  Santa Barbara Trip - July 2011; 7/1/2011-7/6/2011: Tasted at the winery. Nose of lemon and unbuttered popcorn. Slightly smokey, and a touch of burnt popcorn. No obvious gobs of oak. Good minerals. Good stuff!

  This bottle seemed to have more oak than the last one. I think it overwhelmed the fruit. Overall it is ok but not for the price.

  Better than I remembered tasting at the vineyard. Simple without much structure, but pleasant acid with vanilla, apple and a touch of oak. Good quaffer.
