Screwcap. Light yellow. Medium+ intense nose of yellow peach, apples, oyster shell. Medium+ acidity, talc/mineral and fleshy stone pit fruits on the mid-palate, bitter, long finish. Fresh and still unevolved.

Light yellow. Intense aromas of seashell, musk, hay. A classic Chablis nose. The palate is expansive, medium acidity, pear and apple abound, light-medium body. The chalk finish is medium length. That is what ageing is for. The combo of non-fruit aromas on the nose, loads of fruit on the palate with a mineral finish.

Lunch with Deron, from memory. Youthful. Classic. Apple, hay, acidic, lovely, full, great match with orrechiette and asparagus.
