I agree with my previous tasting note on this wine, however, I may have overrated it slightly. Decanted and drank over 2 1/2 hours. Dark, opaque, garnet hue. Nice Washington Cab nose of crushed blackberries and ripe red cherries. Initially this wine did have some youthful tannic smells which completely blew off after the first hour of breathing. Enjoyable and easy to drink. Not overly complex, but it does have some layers to it. Smooth fruity midpalate with hints of black pepper. Short/Moderate finish with a nice little tannic bite. Drink now or over the next 6 years.

Opened, sampled. Decanted and enjoyed over the next couple of hours. Color: Dark Garnet. Nice bouquet of ripe red cherry and blackberry. Nice Cab, easy and enjoyable to drink. Not as bold as some of the Napa/Sonoma Cabs. Good level of tannins leading to a light pepper mid palate. You can even detect the pepper spice on your lips after drinking. I enjoyed this wine, but desired more out of the finish. The finish is the main issue with this wine. I expect modest improvement over the next 3-5 years. B Dub.

Nicholas said he expected a little more. Dark cherry and tobbacco on the nose and palate. Palate has lift and acidity. Acidity maybe not so much in harmony. Wow, for $75 a bottle I guess I want a bit more than this is giving me.

tight pie cherries with a long finish that softened somewhat over the next 3 hours;a lovely washington cab.
