Cork came out and looked like a 5 year old. This has developed very gracefully. It is smooth, there's just a hint of dust in tannin. The notes are dark and it screams right bank Bordeaux. I am not sure I could tell Pomerol from Saint Emilion but it's definitely one of the two. Lots of cassis, leather and ash. Acid is medium and finish is of mid length. Lovely, lovely bottle.

This is still doing well. Needs 20-30 minutes to develop. Balanced fruit, no tannins, nice Pomerol. Think this is best at 18Celsius. Should hold for another 1-2 years.

Popped this for Father's Day dinner with some grilled lamb chops. Fully mature & very good Pomerol. Earthy, silky, some remaining dusty tannins. Probably at peak or perhaps even past. If you're holding, drink up.

Bought this bottle in Marigot St Martin 2 weeks ago. Stood it up in the cellar and looked it up on Parkers website. He claims the wine is long past its time. Hardly the case. A wonderfull old bottle of pomeral in a great year. Earthy, spicy aand delicious ripe fruit flavors. Very classy with a lingering finish. I wish I had purchased the other two bottles.
