From 375ml. Seemed to be in a nice drinking window. Ripe and red fruited, quite pleasant and easy going. Lacking the intensity and power of a grand cru--but that isn't to say this is a bad wine. It's pleasant and inoffensive with some tertiary notes implying maturity.

Nose: black tea, dried leaves, ripe red fruits, herbal, cranberries, mung beans Notes: coming from this vintage I do feel this is still quite energetic and less open than most of the other 07s I've had in the past. Nevertheless I can't say this is very impressive for its hype and status and certainly I would expect more from a Grand Cru and specifically this Grand Cru. Medium bodied and I'd say the wine offers a rather muted nose and nothing too exciting. Drank over 3 hours and there hasn't been significant developments within that time. A little advancement happened starting from the 4th hour but even so one can hardly say this is very interesting. Perhaps another 5 years would help with the development but today I'm quite disappointed. Drink: 2028+ Rating: 89
