better on night 2. Did not take good notes - food pairing part of the issue (steamed gulf shrimp). On night 2, with grilled tuna steaks and grilled triple tail, was much better. Would not buy again given price / quality but a nice bottle of wine that would be nice paired with the right food (grilled Filet?). 90+/-
3rd of 6, perfect cork and level, pnp, essentially as last September's note if more straw than raspberry, just a little simple so down rated to F (17.5)......my 2nd bottle in Feb was slightly flawed and marked G+.
1st of 6, pnp and drunk over 2 nights - medium dusty red, some lightening on rim; intriguing bouquet, raspberry and plum, sous bois suffused with spice, some meat and violet; medium full, surprisingly rich, long and complex for vintage, has stuffing and balance to age well. Fine plus (18/20).
