Last bottle. With Winston at Bistro Provence, shared with Yannick Cam. Deep but bright, almost youthful, color. Immediately forthcoming nose of ripe cherries with smoky overtones. Similar intense ripe fruit dominates palate. Lovely balance and length. May be the best burgundy tasted in recent memory.

MNSC Annual Dinner (Country Club Grill): extremely youthful, probably recorked at some stage. pretty and aromatic, with hint of sous bois.
