Taylor VP Vertical with Roy Hersh: Dark concentrated plum fruit which seems to be overripe, even dried. The VV is clearly more sweet than the normal VPs but it also has a lovely depth and amazing acidity. There are some lovely dried violets in the wine but also some balsamic vinegar and dark chocolate. Overall, it is impressive but the "dried/concentrated" fruit is for me a problem with this wine.
