Argentina: Lovely aromatics but a little low acid and seemingly flat. Pineapple, gooseberry, steamed vegetables on the nose and a bit of smoke and butterscotch on the palate. Creamy from malo and a bit leesy with some nice green pea and chalk.

K&L: Really great fruit flavors--jumps out of the glass, w/nice bal/acidity; hint fig, pear, trop. frt, and “dill”? (I didn’t get that)--lovely beginner wine, aperitif, lighter frty wine w/substance.

I think that the descriptors simple but pleasant sums this up nicely. Easy drinking.

A simple but pleasant white wine from Argentina. Tasted at the Texas Culinary Masters dinner with a salad course.
