Raisin and camphor on the nose. Raisin, cherry, and black/purple fruit on the palate, with some earthiness and more dark fruit on the long finish. Excellent, and although it's not as subtle as some of the better-known Amarones it's both satisfying and distinctive. I will keep an eye out for more recent vintages to see whether the producer is consistent, or whether they just got lucky this year.

Needs 1.5-2 days decant. Don't drink otherwise. Nice balance, soft tannins. Great amarone.

Still doing great. Fruit but not too much sugar. Nose is red fruit and flowers... Great structure and not overly cooked. Worth the wait.

This is a big fruit forward wine. Plums and black cherry with a dusty finish. Luckily it has enough tannin and acid to make it drinkable.
