75 min decant, still going strong -- smooth and balanced, but structure is holding up well. Not a "great," but a "very good." Holding the last bottle for perhaps another 6 mo.

In a great place now. 1 hour decant. Blood orange and red cherries, surprisingly juicy and lithe but complimented with tertiary earth, smoked salami and a little tar. Silky but assertive tannins. I'll wait until its tenth year to open my last bottle.

On the fence of a 90 rating, but won over by the purity of fruit, remaining acidity and harmoniously smooth balance. Drinks without the ham-handed high alcohol knock-out and jammy fruit of many Malbecs. I've always appreciated the restrained style of thi label with its emphasis on minerality and lift. Very attractive, floral nose draws you in from the first inhalation. Seductive roundness and a brambly blackberry with a tangy zing make this a compelling sipper. The oak is not prominent, but still apparent doing it's work to lend a spine of tannin with a tasty chocolate and tiny vanilla note. Almost all the way integrated, this improves with some air. Day 2 even better than Day 1 and a really beautiful bottle at this point. Drink up no later than 2016, I think.

Excellent Malbec. Rich, full and balanced fruit. Good with food or by itself.

Still going strong. Little sweet on the pallet, but still plenty of fruit.
