  • Absolutely singing tonight; great precision lemon, minerality, incredible freshness, the wine is nerveux, tense, with all the balance and attention, you could ask for - this whar white burgundy is about. Im in love, bravo Drouhin. Will live 5 years+, but no sin in drinking it now. (at Racine, New York with AD)

  • This was really a fantastic bottle of Chardonnay. Bright lemon, apple, minerals, fresh cream, and snappy acids. Tons of minerality - it just leaps off the palate. No signs of premox at all, but unless you have a ton of these, why risk it? Delicious now.

  • Dorato chiaro. Naso elegantissimo ove spiccano pietra focaia, fiori gialli, frutta a polpa gialla ed esotica, nette note citrine, grande balsamicità. Bocca rispondente, intensa, legno già assorbito e sorprendente lunghezza finale.

  • A dark golden color to this wine with crisp aromas of honey, melon, apricots, citric peel, roasted nuts, white pepper, cloves, and creamy butter. Very fat on the palate with savory flavors of honeysuckle, apricots, orange rind, roasted nuts, lifted by refreshing acidity, exotic spices, and steely minerality. A mid to full bodied wine with sweet fruit, refreshing acidity, great character, and long lasting delicious finish.

  • Bright, medium yellow. Right off, honeysuckle and charred oak with weight and palate feel that was very much like Meursault, right down to the hazelnut and cinnamon-like spiciness. As it opened out, the wood thankfully dropped back to a more supporting role, orange zest came to the fore, the acidity and minerality perked up, and the body became a little less dense. In the end, very good, but not as finely tuned or exciting as the 2002 was when we drank it last year. The wood sticks out a bit compared to the older vintage.
