A bit disappointing, just an ok wine, nothing special. With almost 25 years of age, the wine did not seem tired though, still plenty of fruit in the mouth.

Perhaps the last bottle I tasted, close to 4 years ago was not pristine, because this bottle rocked! Layers of ripe plums, chocolate, licorice, truffle, and herbs hit your palate in waves. The fruits are lush, sweet, and vibrant, with a touch of chalk in the finish on the backed. Drink from 2023-2032.

A beautiful old wine; soft enough that I would drink in the next 5 years but still with the backbone to hold together a complex Bordeaux experience
