Wet fur on the nose initially. But blew off with time. Became more green olive on the nose. Sweetness of fruit on the palate. Blackcurrant on the palate. Slightly dry on the finish. Ok, but not a must have.
2000 Vintage Bordeaux Tasting (Crystal Wines): Nose was of some mineral and dark fruits. Slight dark fruits present. Full bodied cassis and dark berries with some coffee and oak. Super viscous and chewy tannins. Aftertaste of moderate length but very full bodied. A very powerful wine.
Slowly starting to come around. At this stage, it's slightly more interesting on the nose, with its floral, stone, fresh cherry, earth and black raspberries than on the palate. Medium/full bodied, elegant and refined, with the ability age and improve, the wine offers a fresh, delicate, pure plum and cherry profile.

(Chateau Canon St Emilion) A profound, deeply coloured wine. Ripe, complex, nutty, damsony fruit on the nose which hints at an intense concentration. Indeed, this wine has a big, concentrated, creamy style, which coats a core of ripe tannins most adequately. Full, structured style, with appropriate acidity and balance, and so lots of potential. Needs 5-8 years in the cellar I think.
