Surprisingly fresh! Deep dark color, peppery CdP nose. Black currant, black cherries, black chocolate with garrigue notes on the palate. Oily texture. Long and silky finish. Will hold for a couple of more years.

14.5% alcohol. Long cork of excellent quality with barely a mm of wine penetration. The colour is dark with some thinning but no bricking at the edge of the rim. The nose has vivid dark fruit, mostly of the fresh variety, and some pleasant garrigue. A bit more cooked in the mouth, with some prunes, but not in an objectionable way at all. Very good balancing acidity and plenty of grip in the finish. A successful CndP 2007, but maybe not quite top notch. Very enjoyable in any case and with a commendable level of freshness (within its stylistic boundaries).

Magnum. Color, clear red color; 1st nose, red fruits; 2nd nose, some herbs and spices; on the palate, light body and smooth, with bitter finish. Declining and needs to be drunk soon. Was disappointed.

Decanted for 150 minutes. Classic C9P, a slightly bitter note among the fruits for the first hour or so, the edges then wearing away. Drinking very well now; will not improve.
