  This bottle was in a little better shape than the last, with no off-putting aromas. Still not great, slightly oxidized it seemed. After leaving overnight under vacuum seal, this picked up weight and seemed more viscous and highlighted the lack of acidity even more.

  Very off-putting nose (reduction?) on the pop 'n pour and I just couldn't drink any, so I left it for a couple of hours. This helped, though the aromatics were still nothing remarkable. On the palate, this was drinkable, but seemed flat and lacking in acidity. Flavor profile was dull, old fruit. I think this bottle was sound, just over the hill and a good example of a drink early Nebbiolo. Though, I guess this was never a particularly good wine, based on the notes here.

  Very consistent note from the first bottle consumed in April. Initially, I thought it was flawed. Very dry cork that crumbled. Nose was a little woody at first. This is very reserved. Some bright red fruit and bramble. Perfume and floral notes. Builds on the palate and it has a surprisingly intense finish that does not last too long. This is overpriced at $24 and should be about half that.

  Red with orange tint. Rich floral nose . Medium intensity. Taste of strawberries,raspberries. and some minerality. Pleasing aftertaste good with food.
