Really nice syrah that is filled with fruit yet without being over the top jammy. Nose of dark berries, plum, and some toasty oakand leather. Flavors of blackberry, cherry, and light spice come through. The finish is refreshing and clean. ($12)

Similar notes to last time, but this bottle has more teeth to it in a very good way, thus the higher rating than last time. On the nose blackberry with some allspice leaning towards licorice with a floral component possibly violets. The mouth feel is quite juicy, palate is full of allspice and dark fruit ( blackberry and plum). The finish carries through with some oak and wood shavings, tannins are smooth and well integrated. I like this wine, there is a lot going on

We really like this wine, drank at the beach with the gang. We all felt we got a lot of raspberry in terms of fruit, has a Rhone type style with it. A good mix of old world and new world. Very nice finish of fruit and oak. The tannins are very subdued.

Decent. Good w/ pizza, better right out of the bottle than over the course of two days. Flat nose, slightly unfocused, short finish. For the 12 dollar purchase price however, hard to raise issue.
