This was showing well - a pretty nose of hedgerow, cherries, raspberries and darker tinged fruit. The palate is silky and caressing, with supple and refreshing acids. Performing surprisingly well for the vintage.

light red color, light mixed cherry nose after an hour of air time, light weight mixed cherry fruit with spice, tannins weigh inand into medium finish. Decent wine but poor showing for a Grand Cru.

Blind 5 of 7. I thought this was from a warmer vintage, like 2009 and guessed Clos de la Roche. This had really good fruit, a bit of oak though not too much (I hate new oak and I don't find Grivot extremely oaky). I think it's in a very good place right now, and honestly, this is probably Grivot's best wine (especially given the price).
