This wine still tastes great. It is well balanced with good amount of fruit and flavor. We drank it with Alaskan King crab legs and steak. Held up well. I had a 1986 Chateau Montrose earlier this week, also with beef which I thought was superb. I thought this was also very good in comparison.
Still good, structure holding up but a little weaker flavor than last time I drank it. Finish nice. Had it with an Italian Lasagna dinner. Compared it to Cos d'Estournal 1989 at same meal and I thought the Cos was better.
Tasting of 9 Bordeaux at Primas. Had a hint of sharp dill that slowly opened to cherry fruit on the nose, lots of merlot, almost 80%, very soft pleasant almost earthy taste, long finish, needs 5 years in the cellar to be its best. My #3.

(Pavillon Rouge du Chateau Margaux Margaux) A good colour here. Another fruit laden wine, much more evident on the nose here. A touch of caramel oak (just a touch), some good ground coffee notes and a hint of sooty tannins. Another big wine on the palate. Very tannic, rich, with loads of fruit. More fresh coffee, some fragrance developing, leading into a big, tannic finish. A good length. Overall a serious wine. Needs another five years. This wine was
