A little rough in the beginning, but after a couple hours it smoothed out and became enjoyable. These bottles unfortunately are getting on the expensive side. Still one of my favorite producers in napa.
This was an excellent wine, but put against it's younger brother (Innisfree) this does not come across as an amazing QPR at double the price, it definitely had a bit more tannic backbone than the former, but for sheer enjoyment they are equals in my opinion and very similar notes after an hour of aeration - Dark, full bodied with a nose of sweet, dusty black fruit, plum, mocha, cedar and vanilla, well structured, strong tannins, dry, yet sweet and silky smooth on the palate with great length, very nice (91 Points).
