- Purple color and aromas of black olive and licorice anise. It's balanced and has flavours of prune with a medium/full body. Satin-Like texture with a medium finish.

(JC Cellars Syrah Rockpile Vineyard) A gloriously perfumed, drama-packed wine from the Parks’ Rockpile Vineyard. The color is a vivid purplish-red; the nose is of violets, cracked pepper, and blackberry liqueur; the texture is thick and full, but compact, with muscular, fine-grained tannins; the pepper-spiced fruit is augmented by sweet oak, extending with exhilarating, high-toned intensity through the long finish. Appellation: Rockpile

Drinking very well and still youthful. Probably in its prime.
