  • Good cherry fruit. Very beautiful red color and silky mouth feel. Nice finish of oak: noticeable without taking too much control. Very good with our BBQ salmon. This bottle had a little bit of bottle fermentation, so will wait to give it a final approval until I open another one.

7/28/2013 Tasting this time noted more black berry fruit, some licorice and earthiness. Nice complexity. Definitely a better bottle than the first one. B+

  • Earth, spice, and jamminess on the nose. Effervescent mouthfeel. Palate, cherry, blackberry, and a hint of chocolate from the oak.

  • This wine really made me stand up and take notice. A new level of quality for Arista. Red cherry color. Stunning bouquet, layered with red and black cherry, earth, spice, and minerals. In the mouth, explodes with gorgeous fruit and is supported by a load of complex flavors. The oak is a touch more noticeable, giving a tinge of chocolate-covered cherry. Pure, laser-like, and feminine. Long finish. My favorite from the lineup. A-/A
