  Coming from North-Eastern Italy, this Franconia is a smooth, easy drinking wine with light red berry scents with hints of red and violet flowers. The palate was a little acidic for me with strong flavors of grape skin. Very low alcohol. My wife said it best when she said it tasted like "a red wine reduction sauce."
