A decent hit of redcurrant fruit on the nose. Even more fruit in the mouth. A touch acidic, but overall nicely integrated. Dryish, deceptively long and balanced finish, with spice, pepper, a hint of leather and berry fruit. Satisfying and refreshing.

Took something from 2000 for a restaurant that opened that year and closed tonight. Dark ruby with classic left bank Bdx profile, earthy, dark fruit, tobacco, cedar. Relaxed tannins, but this improved in flavor integration and intensity on second day. 91-92

I rarely use my 20+ wines for a BBQ, but this one nailed it. Fully developped, with an excellent balance between mature berries, cask notes and a solid dose of roast aromas this was a true drinking pleasure and wonderful pairing for our Wagyo Burgers.

Lovely bright elegant fruit and the nose is great classic Bordeaux. Surprisingly vibrant and keep improving.
