Denne har en meget pågående og attraktiv nese med dominerende furunål, krydder og eukalyptus og en anelse medisinal. Lukten er mer dominerende enn smaken da den fremstår som litt lukket selv etter et døgn i karaffel. Virkelig en flott vin som trolig vil utvikle seg positivt fremover.
Unlike the 2007 St Joseph, which is very much in the window, this wine still needs time. Beautiful red fruit pepper but a strong acid note still runs through the wine. Paris's wines are not cheap, but in the context of high quality Northern Rhone, I think they are very much a bargain.
