- Brick color. It's overly tannic and has flavours of blackberry and cherry with a light/medium body. Coarse texture with a medium finish - 'Think this May be past it's prime. Noise is very muted. Tannins are harsh on the front of the tongue at the finish. Flavors are waning. Anise on the noise.
All the components of Nebbiolo came through, except perhaps flowers, palate of cherries, cranberries, some tar, minerals, fantastic acidity with smooth dusty tannin, good weight on the palate, excellent QPR. 07 was a great vintage in Piedmont and this wine shows it.
