Austrian and Spanish Wines on the Fino patio (Fino Restaurant, Austin, Texas): This wine was helped much by food. It had a cream soda and petrol nose, was dry and mineral-driven, and gained some white pepper,, lemon zest, peach pit, and honeysuckle notes over time. Overall the fruit seemed restrained, and this might improve with time.

Basically the same as before. It has some acidity, though, and decent length. Still, it lacks freshness and doesn’t have structure to match the slight sweetness.

I agree with LWI below but perhaps am not quite as critical. The wine shows a pronounced diesel character of a no longer young riesling but not yet fully mature. Plenty of botrytis on the nose too - enough to be a little distracting. And I agree the acids weren't quite there which left the wine a bit heavy. Maybe we caught this at an awkward time. Not bad by any stretch but didn't have the cut I had hoped for.

Medium deep colour. Very big wine that tastes of glycerine, apricots, and peaches. Long, but too loose and definitely lacks acidity.
