  I am often disappointed in some of my wine club selections which leads me to change them around looking to find good wine at a great value. This 2006 2006 Château Grande Cassagne Grenache / Syrah blend is an exception. Nice, round Grenache black fruit on the palate and a solid balance of acid and tannin make this a gulpable red from this Southern Rhone producer. Unfined and unfiltered with nice chunks of sediment left in the bottle (and at the bottom of my glass!).
