They said it could be done . . a red wine at LOS! First 2003 MG. Nose is a bit one dimensional, sweet black cherries. Plenty of baby fat on the palate; black cherry vanilla dominates; simple but delicious. Silky mouthfeel and well balanced - far from flabby or hot - but none of the earthy/mineral/animale notes typically found in red burg. Will check back later. An hour later more of the same but with the volume turned up - silky, pillowy black cherry goodness. The sisters made a killer RRV pinot in 2003! At LOS.
