With pan Chicken reduction….. Trouble with cork Translucent and color looks good. Very integrated flavors. Lots of Raspberries. Seems to have plateaued I would drink in next couple of years. Shorter finish. Decent but nothing stands out. It is very subtle which probably keeps my score down.

Damn this keeps getting better. Decanted off (minimal) sediment, aerated back into bottle. Everything has come together - tannins are particularly beautiful. This is tasting very youthful and fresh, not at all what one might expect from a 15yo California pinot. But then again it's Windy Oaks...

Decanted off a bit of sediment 1 hour in advance, aerated back into bottle. Open, accessible and delicious for a riper style. Still in balance.

what a wonderful Pinot, well integrated and smooth tannin. It doesn't get much better, I have one more to taste this year

Holding fine, with some very nice nuanced tertiary development. I'm in the camp that this was even better with a few more years of cool cellar aging.
