Alvin's Lunch - March 2013 (Le Gavroche): Tasted blind – Dark colour. Greener/Cab Franc like nose with darker fruits and a touch of black licorice. Slightly rustic on the palate with drying tannins and good acidity. Nice levels of fruit on the palate and overall well balanced. This was a tough one to guess. Very good.

Surprisingly good. Spice and dark fruit. A bit short on the finish but enjoyable. At peak.

Medium dark red. Nice nose with dark fruit, menthol and cedar. Quite herbal dark fruit flavours. Very nice wine at this time.

CLWS - South Africa with Peter May (Central London Wine Society, London)): Rather restrained nose, big blackcurrant and mint flavours, warm finish. Seems very young for a 5 year old wine -- I'll keep the rest for a while.
