Straw color, rich mouth feel. Very nice citrus and grass flavors but the alcohol was a bit too dominant on the palate for first few hours. It definitley itegrated further with a extended decant and as a result, this wine should continue to get better. This is reminsicent of a rich Bordeaux Blanc.
WOW!! could be the best bottle of Sauvignon Blanc I have ever had. So complex with persitent but subtle melon, pear and faint carmel notes. The nose was explosive. The 2008 and 2009 of this wine have been standard setting for me. Like all truly great wine's list kept changing and getting deeper over the 2 1/2 hour's we drank it. I was sure if the nose or the palette where better. I wish all wine was like this.
Light straw in color. 14.3% ABV. Apricots, lime, grapefruit and vanilla on the nose. Medium body with compelling acidity. Rich and creamy on the palate. Exceptional mouth feel. Flavors of peach, lemon and key lime pie. The finish is perfect. Aging beautifully. Drink over the next year or so. Always one of the best Sauvignon Blancs coming out of California.
1st day good, 2nd day great. Tasters have underestimated the longevity here. Great now but could be held onto as no serious signs of aging. Juicy, long finish. Perhaps from the slight bit of age, it has a touch of Semillon character and perhaps you could say a remote Haut Brion Blanc resemblance....

(Araujo Estate Sauvignon Blanc) Pale straw with greenish highlights. Complex nose of wet rocks, green apple, pear, white peach, wet grass, and a touch of wax and vanilla. Spicy fruit and juicy acidity dominate the palate; the clean minerality lingers on the finish. Terroir: Eisele Vineyard
