This 10 year old Sauvignon Blanc that was still going strong. It was a nice start to a fun dinner with friends. I like Spottswoode's wines but I prefer the Sauvignon Blanc younger.

Tasted with a '06 and '13. Group favorite! Stone fruit more pronounced than herbaceous / grassy qualities. Drinking very well right now. Bright, round and complex

Light pale in color. 14.1% ABV. The fruit is sourced from both Sonoma County and Napa County. Lemon, pear and flowers on the nose. Medium body and light acidity. Vibrant, exotic, rich and creamy. Cantaloupe, pineapple, lemongrass, lychee fruit and a spice component on the palate. Super wine that would be great with or without food. Drink over the next year or so.

Crisp acidity and ample fruits. Easy to drink and a delicious wine to pair with lighter fare during the warmer months. Enjoyed this and wish I had more!

(Spottswoode Estate Sauvignon Blanc) This distinguished Bordeaux-style wine is 67% Sauvignon Blanc, 24% Sauvignon Musqué, and 9% Sémillon. It’s a bright golden-straw color, with a complex nose of lemon, lime, melon, kiwi, fresh grass, and stone accompanied by a tangy suggestion of orange blossom. Creamy vanilla-oak notes enter on the smooth palate. The finish is warm and fairly long, showing moderate acidity. Winery Spotlight: Spottswoode Estate
