Drank this at Berserkerfest at Peking Duck House (PDH) in NYC. Elegant and light on it's feet. Would have been nice served solo; but with all that wine competition, this didn't have a chance. Drink sooner rather than later. I'll drink my last bottle with non-geeks.
Rethinking ratings. This is the top of the pyramid for Sea Smoke--expected extraordinary--got ordinary. Nose fairly closed--even with air the nose remained reticent--little fruit, some cola notes--basically undistinguished. Pleasant enough on the palate with some fruit, but short on the palate. A drinker not a wower. Have two more bottles--won't have them long. This is on its way out
