Pure with aromas of peach, apple, white pepper, cinnamon, cream and honey. Good acidity and rich while remaining light. A bit thick and alcoholic in the mouth, but give this a few years and I think it will be great. Better at room temp. Drinks more like a red than a white. Really shows its Austrian terroir. And while pleasurable, it is not gulp-able.
Very sour, green apples dominate the flavor profile, a light pepper spice note, citrus on the finish and a hint of residual sugar that elegantly covers the missing ripeness and high acidity to some extent. Has been better in recent years. Drink soon. - 86 points
