  • PNP. Having this with Christmas dinner and it is lovely. Pale red, more Morey than Gevrey, with a nose slightly mature featuring those beautiful Dujac stems and gentle spice. Elegant palate, lithe and ethereal with red cherry and very refined tannins.

  • Tasted over 2 hrs
    -semi-translucent med red mild bricking
-low-key wet stone cherry faint stem funk
-med acidity, med/med- weight very pretty delicate red fruit with gently earthy spice and whisper of sous bois, med- tannins with a mildly bitter medicinal note on finish
-mature now though should still do well for several more years, elegant especially for Gevrey

  • 1/1, very good cork.
Pale garnet core, wide very pale garnet/mahogany rim. Fragrant nose, strawberries, florals, white pepper, touch of smoke. Medium bodied, strawberry fruit, touch of cream, tehre's spice and liquorice too, soft and silky across the mid-palate, extremely elegant, lovely vibrant acidity, excellent length finish with a trace of tannin still. Excellent, touching outstanding, drinking well.

  • Pop/Pour .. which is a bad idea. This wine continued to improve over 2 hours as I consumed. Quite shut down initially.
With air, sweet red cherry, sous bois, hint of sweet sandalwood. Palate showed great acidity and resolved tannins. A hint of bitter stem does show on the finish but that improved with air as well, so definitely decant.
