  excellent. perfume was beautiful; terrific balance - lithe, yet full in the mouthful. most certainly feminine. red fruit, great length and well balanced acidity. expensive but fun to finally crack this open. WOTN during a fun dinner with friends.

  Bottle 630 of 4179. The nose shows classic Leroy character, with concentrated mushroom, red fruit, and just a bit of the funk. Not too dense on the palate, this shows some very nice red fruit (a bit of a surprise for the vintage) as well as very grainy tannins. Needs time to integrate, but very good now already.

  Really pretty, pure dark fruit and spice nose. Less generous on the palate; tannic and a bit raw and stemmy. Enjoyable enough but needs some time.

  Sinceramente non so che bottiglia avessero tra le mani i due utenti che hanno recensito questo vino prima di me, o che cosa siano abituati a bere ogni giorno...bevuto alla cieca insieme a Roty Fonteny 2009 e Dugat-Py Gevrey VV 1998...
  Immaginate i fiori e il velluto del Rocche del Falletto di Giacosa, che sposa la bevibilità fresca e il tannino di un Clos Rougeard.
  Solo Madame può rendere il tannino rude di Pommard in maniera così precisa e farti amare un comune spesso sottovalutato.
  Questi 2006 di Leroy sono grazia resa liquida, in grado di ricostruire le gerarchie della bellezza.
  Non oso immaginare cosa possa essere il suo RSV.....

  Dark fruit, black pepper and a bit of classic Leroy spice on the nose. The palate matched with very little depth or complexity. Relatively thin, this did not have the normal stuffing to go the distance of a Leroy. If it were not for the sexy Leroy spice on the nose, this would have been a disaster. Perhaps this will take on weight with time, but at this time it is very disappointing.
