  A (mostly) Burgundy dinner (Cascina Spinasse, Seattle WA): Nose: The nose is flowing with cranberries, dark red cherries, raspberries, black tea, violets, spice notes, tobacco, and a touch of underbrush notes. There is an understated power here that is accompanied by excellent depth.
  
  Taste: The feel is medium bodied with crisp, medium+ acidity and silky, medium+ tannins. The structure is in a really good place as it shows its presence but doesn't dominate. The feel is deep and balanced with cranberries, dark red cherries, raspberries, black tea, tobacco, and underbrush notes.
  
  Overall: This is in a great place on the early side of its drinking life. The fruit has a delicious sour side to it that is backed up with lots of Grand Cru quality depth.

  Tight, juicy, young with the Gevrey green cheese on the nose. Beautiful constrained with power and cool fruit length. Wonderful

  Another Saturday at Knightsbridge - mostly blind (Northbrook, IL): Tasted double blind. Very 2007 color, aromas and flavors. Rich with good spice, i never would have thought this from Gevrey-Chambertin base don how it showed today, given mostly red fruit with equal emphasis on spice. Still very good, this is a 2007 that will improve and evolve in an interesting direction.

Idag allt för ungt förstås men som många unga bättre bourgogner så känner man tydligt strukturen. Det är ettt vin som man kan sitta länge med. Inte allt för kraftig syra, bra , lång eftersmak.

  Nice very vintage typical with layers of various aromas. Still a baby of course and will get much better. There are things here that has not shown yet.
