This is clear Jadot style and express all the elegance and balance you'd expect. In fact the nose is all about an evolving aromatic harmony rather than on focus and precision. Nonetheless. this shows great purity of fruit maintaining outstanding vibrancy throughout. On the palate same story, this bursts with flavour but in a sort of restrained way, never showing off its depth and concentration abruptly. I love its uptight and vibrant character which with it outstanding balance between depth of fruit, bright acidity and a rather silky tannic structure make this a very serious drink. Rebuy: yes.
Farewell French Dinner for Christine (Coco 500, San Francisco): Clear light color. Brambly cranberry nose with wintergreen and licorice. Fine, delicate Volnay weight with a touch of wood. Tart black cherry to blackberry fruit, high acidity, outstanding focus and clarity. Will surely improve but not too shabby right now.
