  Long Wine Lunch and Après Lunch (Spago and Wally's - Beverly Hills CA): Bottle directly from Arcadian's cellar a few days earlier. Slightly more bright red and black cherry than earth with savory spice. Very good weight and length with elegant structural elements. Arcadian's tendency to harvest early comes through with good acidity and nothing too fat.

  Drinking beautifully! Wonderful red cherry, earth, and mineral aromas and evolving flavors with absolutely delicious and refreshing acidity and structure on the layered finish.

  Big Arcadian Tasting in ATL (1997-2008) (Antico Posta): My notes start get wonky now...I didn't love this. It felt a bit out of sorts. A bit too much on the dark-ripe fruit. Maybe for a fan of bigger Cali pinots. Not sure what this needs, maybe time. Not its best showing.
