Saturated purple and blue color. Vanilla and blueberry nose. Sweet palate with blueberry, red currant, and vanilla. A bit over the top for me and lacking darker tones and depth. Drinking well right now and very enjoyable. Does not feel like it is going to get a lot better.

Three and a half years since the last one, and this is positively in a sweet spot right now. Required 2 hours in decanter to blow of some rather dense brett, but once it did, plenty of smoky, chewy, red and black fruits, bound by fresh acids and sprinkled with grilled herbs. Best on day 3, actually; this was a gem. thru 2018, recommended

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Naso di viola. In bocca animale, ferroso all'inizio, prugne secche e mandorla dopo poche ore. Dopo molte ore tutto diventa più morbido ma meno interessante. Non lunghissimo. Pronto ora che pare al suo massimo. Qualche anno sulla breccia però l'ha ancora. Un ottimo vino, non troppo impegnativo ma comunque adatto su uno stinco di maiale in umido e addolcito con una salsa al "marsala".
