  Nice Rioja.. Not too heavy. Somewhat spicy and dry. Smell of tar and dried fruit.

  A gorgeous and opulent wine. Has aromas of truffles, leather, figs, raspberries, cedar and liquorecy undertones. Its medium bodied lushly fruited palate has very good concentration, a beautifully complex oaky cigary fruity mesh on the opulent middle. Ends freshly fruited, longish, zingy and lightly austere. A faceted wine. Drink up!

  Really fruity and forward Rioja - more of a modern style. Very - unusually - soft tannins. Remarkable VFM

  Still a little oaky but developing nicely and with time perhaps another point. Nice mouth feel and acidity and great with pork chops and roasted red peppers.
