  Amazingly, this still tastes young and primary. It has the acidity and tannins to go for years. I wish I'd known of this wine years ago, I'd have bought a case.

  Spoiler alert! this is fantastic at 11-12 years old; beautiful nose, ripe strawberry and dark cherry fruit on the palate and really wonderful tertiary flavors; really happy to be drinking this; last of 6 bottles bought back in 2011.

  This has held up well enough. Always a solid wine, for the $13 I paid, this is still drinking nicely at 10 years. Still, I probably won't go for 20.

  Surprise, i was actually able to hold this for 4 more years after the last bottle. Color is migrating towards a lighter maroon but still fairly opaque with burnt edges. Cherry and blackberry fruit aromas and dried brush. Palate is delicious black fruit, light pepper, charcoal, medium acidity, and a bite on he backend. Tannins have significantly soften over these years. Medium finish.

  Nice wine. Earth and lots of black and blue fruit on the nose. Blackberry, tobacco, leather, and herbal notes on the palate. A bit past prime for my palate, but enjoyable nonetheless.
