Initially theres barnyard nose, after aeration, the nose becomes flora, spices, white pepper, cinnamon. Medium acidity and medium tannin. A well make village. Not sure if can last in this stage and suggest to drink up.

If every Vosne-Romanée tasted like this, I'd be far more inclined to buy wines from this village. This was lovely, leading with an elegance that demands your attention. While this lacks the intensity or complexity of a 1er or GC, it still has a core of authenticity that is fascinating. Such a lovely wine...if I could find more of this at the release price, I'd buy a much as I can. Outstanding.

Pale color, still nicely bright and ripe red cherry with subtle savory spice. Just moderate concentration. Very enjoyable and balanced. Best now through the next 5 years.

PnP. Blossom floral and red cherries upon opening with a touch of mineral. Textured palate for a village from 2007. Started to drop in around 2 hours. Very nice overall, just not the obscene market price.

(Tremblay Cécile Vosne-Romanée Vieilles Vignes) 50-60 year-old vignes which kept 80% of their stems during fermentation. - only 14 days in bottle. High-toned with red-fruit dominated aromas. Lots of concentration and that rare element of 'gras'. Plenty of structure and long finishing. Complex and far from the fruit-driven 'mold' of most here.
