Thank God for Burgundy! A very good, if not great bottle, but this kind of wine is what makes it all worth while for me.
Took about 30 min. to open up. Light body, very good length and balance. Notes of delicate red fruits, penetrating but just enough. A bit on the acid side, but not overly so. Very compelling, once it opened.

A tale of two walks: Ladoix and Savigny (Côte de Beaune, France): Nose of asparagus and broccoli was a little off putting. Although some of group found it "interesting". It did not carry forward to the palate so strongly.
