After a C&D from Josh Jensen of Calera, this vineyard was renamed Resonance and more recently bought by Jadot. This wine was made prior to the amiable split between David O'Reilly (Owen Roe) and Peter Rosback (Sineann) and both are listed on the back label as winemakers. I bought this on release and had the pleasure of drinking it with David O'Reilly back in November. I just found my short tasting note from that day. It ended up being my WOTY.
Medium dark color with a slightly dusty rim. Very complex nose that kept growing with air, includes very exotic spices like garam masala, ginger, baked black fruit. This wine just kept getting better and better over the course of an hour or so--gaining weight and aromatic complexity. The flavors of red and black cherry are rich, nuanced and still very fresh and lively. This is a spectacular Oregon Pinot Noir and I am very lucky to have one more bottle. Drink over the next few years.

Good red cherry and strawberry aromas, moderately mature, good spice. Similar fruit on palate, just moderately ripe, ever-so-slightly overly firm at finish. Slightly better the 2nd day with some the rough edges at the finish less pronounced.

Earth, mushroom nose. Balanced, but probably past its prime. Medium finish. A great bottle of wine!
